About LATITUDE:

  • Magellan Executive Partners is pleased to bring you the Latitude podcast, a show about navigating business culture.  Your hosts, Rod Beeler and Brian Gareau, will share strategic, tactical, and practical ways to ensure your business culture doesn’t blend in with the crowd.  Their wisdom in this area comes from long, successful careers in a Fortune 100 corporation and as active, passionate practitioners themselves. Some organizations oversimplify culture.  They gloss over the critical elements that help explain and reinforce why we do things.  Great intentions give way to limited action, resulting in a culture that fails to retain and engage people.  Sometimes all we need are small reminders to set us up for greatness.  Magellan’s Latitude podcast will help you determine your culture’s accurate position, speed, and heading to help you navigate to the performance you want.  We hope you will join us; welcome aboard!

About our hosts:

  • Rod and Brian met many years ago; while they never worked directly for each other, their paths crossed on several major enterprise-wide projects to help create cultural differentiation in the US and internationally.  But this cultural differentiation wasn’t through traditional paths many organizations take (wages, benefits, physical layouts, technology, unique perks, etc.) but rather on consistent actions, habits, and norms that drove actively living core values, inclusion, trust, accountability, and employee engagement. Rod and Brian are passionate about differentiated culture, and they offer very diverse backgrounds and experiences, including domestic and international; office/shop; union/non-union; start-ups/mature operations; staff/executive positions; and M&As. They have also been able to continue to tap into very rich research findings from other companies and professional organizations. We hope you will be inspired to hoist your organization’s mainsail and navigate business culture faster and more effectively through our reminders on LatitudeAnchors away!
