High Potential Employees

Format

Two 4-hour sessions at Magellan’s facilities in Oklahoma City. Topics The spacing of the sessions is flexible, however we recommend they occur at least 1 month apart, but no more than 2 months apart. We recommend a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 people be included at any one time to ensure robust discussion.

Investment

$800 per person with a minimum of 10 people

What’s Covered

 

Session1:

Topic 1 – Understanding yourself

  • Every attendee would take a Strengths Finder assessment prior to this session.
  • We will review the Strengths Finder assessment so that everyone will gain an understanding of their specific strengths and potential blind spots. Depending on the size of the group, each individual SF will be reviewed either in the main session or in smaller group breakouts.

Topic 2 – Leadership when you’re not in charge

  • Understanding the 5 levels of leadership
  • Developing an Owner mentality, as opposed to a
  • Renter Understanding the keys to individual success – Positivity, Network, and developing a ‘Get To’ vs a ‘Have To’ mindset
  • What it means to ‘own your career’

Session 2:

Topic 3 – Developing a powerful ‘Presence’

  • Understanding how we really communicate
  • Understanding & developing ‘EQ’, i.e., human cognizance & empathy
  • The 5 C’s of Presence
    • Credibility
    • Confidence
    • Commitment
    • Composure
    • Connection

Topic 4 – Key skills needed for success

  • Managing your time wisely
  • Being ‘Management Ready’
  • Having difficult conversations
  • Being ‘Coachable’
  • Thinking critically & strategically as opposed to purely tactically
